| Our Dogs |
Just as any dog of any breed is an individual, with its own idiosyncrasies, so too are our TM's. They all share the breeds inherent traits and many characteristics, but to varying degrees. To read of the breed characteristics and to actually see them displayed in the dogs never ceases to amaze us.
The dogs, our children and I are members of the Visiting Pets as Therapy Program, which entails visiting elderly residents in a Nursing Home, a Hostel for the Disabled and a Respite Centre. Their gentle, friendly manner and soft coat has seen the dogs become very popular with those we visit. The Activities Co-ordinator of the Nursing Home we visit told me she has seen responses to our dogs she hasn't seen from some residents before. We all enjoy our outings through VisPAT.
